The past few weeks have been very busy. On Saturday, the 19th we went berry picking in the morning and this time stopped at two places. One place for raspberries and the other for blueberries. Haha I know you all are very excited at this point. Well it took up the majority of our day. As you can see, Cruz likes the berries too.
Mom and Jimmy arrived that night and met us on Sunday morning. We went to Church together, ate lunch, and then headed out to show them around town. First we were off to the temple. There we got sort of an informal tour by a nice security guy. We took pictures, walked around, and came to a fountain and set Cruz in front of it. He freaked out! He was sooo excited.
After the temple, we went to show them another important part of town that is a must see, Council Crest Park. Here you can see Mt. Hood, Mt. Adams, Mt. St. Helens, and Mt. Rainier. Luckly, we were able to view them all. Here is a pic of Mt. Hood from the park when we went a previous time.
Next, it was on to Multonomah Falls, a very popular tourist spot because of easy access and of course, it’s beautiful.
On the last day of there visit we did a tour of Nike World Headquarters and we couldn’t let them leave without a visit to the prestigious Nike employee store. They will attest that it’s very easy to spend a lot of $$$! But for most, it’s a once in a lifetime thing to get 50% off everything!
